Helen embarks on a passionate affair with a man who has no idea of her secret identity
Caught in the crosshairs when her lover falls victim to London’s dangerous underworld, Helen’s employer enlists Sam to protect her. Bingo, the owner of the guitar shop where Sam buys his guns, is played by Rat Scabies, a member of classic punk band The Damned.
I really liked it and watched it in one day
Starring in Graham Norton I liked: Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). This is a very British TV series, with good acting and Guy Ritchie-esque dark humour.
The story is totally improbable, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat
It’s great to see Ben Whishaw take the lead as a gay assassin, rather than a gay assassin. Too often these days, sexuality is overblown in an attempt to make a social statement, which often weighs down the narrative.
Thankfully, there’s no real morality tale to this 😁😀😁
It’s also nice to see Sara Lancashire playing the role of an upper-class boss of an international spy ring rather than a tough, salty Nordic character. Give it a try… “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
